Hello lovelies! Remember when Artis brushes first came out a long time ago? I have been wanting it ever since! but it comes with a very hefty price tag $$. Since then, a lot of companies have been making their own versions of artis brush dupes! I fell in love with them when my makeup artist used it on me. She used the smallest round one to highlight my inner corners & my nose bridge!
I used to walk around Asian Avenue @ Sunway Pyramid and I found the entire set which retails for RM 80. However, when I saw that it's 30 Ringgit (including shipping) online, I decided that it's too good of a deal to just pass! I bought it from shopee.com.my Just search toothbrush inspired makeup brushes and you will find that it comes in lots of colours. The only difference is that when I got mine, it didn't come with the fancy box, instead it comes in individually wrapped plastic. I don't need the box anyways! :p because hello? 50 Ringgit difference is a lot of money. This is where I got mine btw!

To be honest, I freaking love them! Except for the eyebrow/eyeliner ones. I rarely use those. You can see how I use them in my videos! I include one at the bottom of this post. It's so easy to buff liquid foundation into my skin. It's super dense and fun to use! The best part is, it's easy to clean & it's not that expensive!

I actually don't really use the skinny brushes meant for eyeliner/eyebrows for that purpose. I use it to highlight my inner corners or sometimes just to put add contour. I end up blending it with my fluffy blending brush though. So I typically only use 3 of the big ones, for powder, liquid foundation and blush. The smallest round one I use for applying eyeshadow and the tiny round ones I use it for highlighting. What I love about these brushes is that you get to decide how and what you want to use it for!

The round one on the most right is my favourite brush to use! Overall, I rate them 7/10 Stars! Worth to buy if you are looking for cheap brushes that are high quality. I still love the original Artis Makeup Brushes & I would love to still get them one day when I can afford it. They look prettier and more aesthetically pleasing imho. The set of Elite Mirror, 10 Brush set retails for $360 which is roughly 1500 Ringgit.
I have been using the brushes a lot lately. You can see them in my videos!
Do tell me what you think of them! Love em or hate em?
I have more reviews coming up really soon because I am free today! and honestly I love doing reviews like this.
I would never imagine being able to get a really good brush set 10 years ago for only 30 Ringgit.
What's on my mind: Lots of work! When you want something, you have to hustle for it!
XOXO
